This online event will bring together the global Digital Twins of the Ocean (DITTO) community for a series of sessions dedicated to showcasing current initiatives, sharing recent advances, and fostering collaboration across continents. It will serve as an open forum to exchange ideas, present novel developments, and discuss the state of the art in Digital Twin Ocean technologies, methodologies, and applications.
The event will highlight the activities of the DITTO Working Groups, as well as contributions from endorsed projects, partners, and community initiatives. Together, these efforts cover a wide range of themes; from next-generation Digital Twin architectures, modeling and AI applications, and data integration, to stakeholder engagement, ethics, and co-design approaches. Partners and contributors will share practical use cases demonstrating how Digital Twins are being developed and applied to support ocean knowledge, management, and sustainable development.
Each day will feature two sessions, structured to accommodate global participation: one session in the early morning (Europe/Africa time) to allow colleagues in Asia/Pacific to participate, and another session in later afternoon (Europe/Africa time) to allow colleagues in the Americas to participate:
